The main challenge of the project was to design a digital platform that meets the needs, behaviors, and preferences of various user segments, including donors, non-profits, philanthropists, and businesses. The importance of crafting a responsive and accessible design added an additional layer of complexity, requiring a solution that seamlessly adapts to diverse user interactions across different devices. Moreover, the aesthetic identity of the platform presented a unique challenge, involving a distinctive look and feel that could stand out among competitors.

Defining the user experience on JGive, we initiated comprehensive competitor research. Analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of existing platforms paved the way for informed decision-making. A design system became the cornerstone, enabling efficient collaboration among team members and expediting design iterations. This led to a user-friendly system for donations that serves both registered and non-registered users. For registered users, personalized dashboards offer transparent tracking of donations and charity progress. Membership tiers - standard, gold, and platinum - unlock varying benefits, enhancing the overall user journey. Recognizing the need for agility and sustainability, the Fram team transferred existing Adobe xD materials to Figma.

Developing an engaging User Interface involved implementing 3D elements for improved visual appeal and immersive experiences. A differentiated color scheme creates a balance between playfulness and professionalism. The creation of a detailed style guide ensured consistency and facilitated future development. Graphic design elements were thoughtfully integrated to enhance overall aesthetics.

The result of this collaborative effort is a JGive platform that not only meets the diverse needs of its users but exceeds expectations.
