A Multilingual Digital Upgrade for ElDrive


About ElDrive

ElDrive operates one of the largest networks of electric vehicle charging stations in Southeastern Europe. Serving both private and commercial drivers, the company enables convenient, sustainable mobility with reliable access to charging infrastructure across urban and regional areas. The platform supports drivers in planning, locating, and managing their vehicle charging through a simple digital experience that mirrors ElDrive’s real-world coverage.

The Challenge

ElDrive’s original web platform was outdated in the face of their accelerating growth and expansion across multiple countries. The homepage and platform structure needed to adapt to different markets, products, and pricing models without fragmenting the brand experience. A key technical challenge was migrating the site to Webflow while improving performance, integrating third-party form providers, and supporting five language versions.
We implemented functionality that allowed ElDrive to collect and organize platform feedback in support of their sustainability goals. The project required coordination across several regions, bringing together internal stakeholders to align on content, objectives, and site structure while maintaining steady progress throughout the process.

User Experience

The goal was to retain user familiarity while overhauling the experience to meet modern expectations. We proposed a full redesign focused on clarity, responsiveness, and content localization. Maintaining the general structure of the existing platform allowed returning users to navigate intuitively, while our improvements made it easier to access essential tools like station locations, customer support, and account features.

Throughout the process, we facilitated workshops with ElDrive’s internal team to co-define navigation, content flow, and cross-market usability. The result was a structure that feels consistent across languages and flexible enough to evolve with the business.

User Interface

The visual direction focused on elevating professionalism and technical confidence. We introduced a clean, modern aesthetic using strong typography and a palette dominated by blue and dark grey, with a vivid lime green accent to signal energy and mobility. These choices remained connected to the legacy identity while refreshing the interface for a more premium, user-first feel.
We built a design system that supports modular content blocks, custom icons, and visually rich sections. A subtle use of glassmorphism added a sense of depth without overpowering clarity. Every element of the interface was optimized for accessibility and visibility across devices.

Branding

Our role was to extend and evolve ElDrive’s brand into a modern web environment. Small adjustments to font pairings, color usage, and spacing helped unify the digital expression with the company’s growing industry presence. By applying modern design techniques and refining visual consistency, we created a look that reflects the brand’s maturity while positioning it among leading players in the electric mobility space.

The Result

ElDrive’s new website reflects the company’s ambition and momentum. The design is clean, modern, and ready to support the operational complexity of a growing multinational network. We successfully migrated the platform into Webflow, implemented all regional structures and languages, and built integrated forms that allow for better support tracking and internal reporting.

This project showcases Fram’s ability to combine localization, platform transition, and modern UX/UI execution in a short time frame, while navigating technical constraints and aligning teams across borders.
