The challenge of this project was to develop a mobile app that presents sensitive mental health topics in a neutral, approachable way while maintaining ease of use for the end users. Balancing the need to provide clear, intuitive navigation for self-help tools and ensuring a smooth onboarding process was essential to help users feel supported from the start. It was crucial to design an interface that simplifies access to a wide range of features—without overwhelming users—while fostering a clear understanding of mental health resources. Achieving this balance between user-friendly functionality and thoughtful presentation was the key objective of the application.

Our primary focus was creating an intuitive interface that simplifies every interaction, allowing users to easily book an online consultation, connect with a therapist, and navigate the self-help resources. The streamlined design ensures that booking a session or starting a chat with a therapist can be done quickly, without unnecessary steps. Clear navigation and thoughtful organization of features allow users to move through the app effortlessly, empowering them to manage their mental well-being with ease and confidence, no matter where they are.

The user interface of the Mentalware app was designed with a focus on clarity and calm, featuring line icons with a duo-tone style and fresh, natural tones like green to create a soothing and accessible experience. The use of non-serif typography ensures that information is easy to read and digest, promoting a clear and inviting interface.
